The Montreal Gazette has reported that not two, but 4 men were arrested for the robbery and assault of Jonathan Duhamel. The robbery happened last week in broad daylight and to me it comes as no surprise that these idiots were caught. The men, who broke in before 10am on the 21st, stole an undisclosed amount of money, his WSOP bracelet, and an engraved Rolex watch. Only two men were part of the actual invasion, but two more were arrested; one on conspiracy charges, and one who has yet to be labeled with a specific charge at this point.. All of the perpetrators were under the age of 27 and at this point police are trying to figure out whether Duhamel was specifically singled out, or whether he was simply a victim of bad luck, something the young star is not too familiar with.According to the Montreal Gazette, “Bianca Rojas-Latraverse, 20, of St. Saueveur, and John Stephan Clark Lemay, 22, of Pointe Claire, were charged with armed robbery, forcible confinement, breaking and entering, assault and conspiracy. Lemay and Andre Perron, 26, of Pierrefonds, were charged with possession of a stolen watch worth more than $5,000.”The person who has not been labeled with charges yet has also not been named. The only thing we know about this last individual is that they are 20 years old.Duhamel issued a public statement on his website saying, “I spent (Dec. 21) at the hospital and (I was) black and blue all over but no broken bones, no blood clots, nothing to worry about. Today, I am exhausted, both physically and mentally but I’m happy to be alive.”There is no word on the status of the bracelet, which means a lot to Duhamel and is not an every day item, but we all hope it is brought back to its owner. In the same breath I hope that all 4 offenders are dealt with as severely as possible by Canadian authorities. 2i1g
