Season XXI of the World Poker Tour (WPT) is in full swing, with multiple Prime and Main Tour stops scheduled for the rest of the year, including the WPT Prime Lichtenstein.

The festival runs from August 30 to September 11 at the Grand Casino Lichtenstein, featuring around a dozen of events, headlined by the CHF 1,000,000 GTD Main Event.

WPT Prime Lichtenstein marks the first time that the WPT is hosting a major poker event in the country, which is in line with the tour’s commitment to bringing poker to loyal players across the globe, according to WPT CEO Adam Pliska when the brand-new stop was announced earlier this year.

The WPT wants to make sure its first-ever visit to the German-speaking nation will be a memorable one by organizing a great line-up of events fit for players of all levels.

Buy-ins for the series start at CHF 200 and the schedule includes several events under that price point, including the CHF 100,000 GTD WPT Deepstack which takes place from August 31 to September 3, with three Day 1 flights. Fans of Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO) will find two events for them running on September 2 and 4, each with a buy-in of CHF 300.

Also part of the schedule is a Ladies event and a Seniors event, scheduled for September 3 and 4 respectively. Both have buy-ins of CHF 200.

A Mystery Bounty event has also been confirmed, though the buy-in has yet to be finalized. It will take place on September 10, with a CHF 1,980 buy-in High Roller wrapping up the series on September 11.

The festival culminates in the Main Event which costs CHF 1,100 to enter and features a huge CHF 1,000,000 guarantee. The tournament has six starting flights and runs from September 6-11. Live satellites are available for a buy-in of CHF 200 and take place from August 30-September 7.

In addition to the live satellites, players may enter WPT Prime Lichtenstein for a more affordable price via online qualifiers on WPT Global. The qualifiers cost $110 to enter and are scheduled every Saturday (2 p.m. ET) and Sunday (6 p.m. ET). Satellites that feed into the qualifiers are also available for as little as $5.

The winners will receive a $1,500 WPT Prime port which they can use at their preferred WPT Prime live event, including the WPT Prime Lichtenstein.
